California, the place where artists,actors, musicians, entrepreneurs, immigrants and common people find their place. The "golden coast", the home of beautiful beaches and ethnic diversity, this is my place of birth.
Born in 1989 in Northern California, life for my family was anything but easy. Coming from a family of five, my parents were Mexican immigrants to this country. As with most their goal was progression, putting everything on the line to protect and provide for their three children. Not accepting being mediocre they worked anywhere they could. Sacrificing the the luxuries of the life they once had in Mexico so that their children could grow up with a good education and better opportunity to progress.
Throughout my life there have been many transitions, or changes that have made me who I am. I have started this blog not only to express myself but, to have somewhat of an impact on those who read this. In today's day and age we find ourselves confronted by pressing issues that as a country separate us more and more each day. I hope that by expressing my ideas and beliefs I can help unite us as Americans in this country. We were founded on the blood and sweat of those who fought for our freedom. We will have differences in what we think to be the correct political stance, but we are all concerned for our rights. Do not mistake this blog as being a political statement, it is only a means by which I can begin to unify our people if only a little. We all have something of value to offer those around us. This is my life, you are welcome to take my experiences and learn from them. Citizen or not we are all Americans striving for a better life.
